Simply put, CrossFit is the “sport of fitness.” Sounds crazy, right? Maybe not. CrossFit has turned the boring, mundane yet necessary task of “working out” into a sort of game.
CrossFit is a training program that builds functional strength and conditioning through daily workouts that are constantly varied and are sure to push your body to the limits.
We train your body to be capable of taking on any physical challenge life throws at you. Don’t want to make more than one trip into the house with an armload of groceries? We’ve got you covered. Need to sprint across the parking lot at work so you’re on time? No problem! Want to jump over tall buildings in a single bound? We can work on that too.
RC3’s unique Burner is the ultimate metabolic conditioning class, designed to kick your metabolism into gear (burn fat), and get you an anabolic (muscle toning) and aerobic (endurance) workout. This class will challenge everyone from the newcomer to the fittest athlete! The faster you go the harder it is. Expect to move hard to loud music, and sweat plenty!
BUT, it’s not all about speed. Our experienced instructors teach and focus on proper technique to activate all the right muscle groups and prevent injury before and during the workout, and tailor every exercise to meet your specific needs!
Classes are open to all experience levels and are designed to be adjustable so that everyone gets a challenging workout and leave feeling accomplished.
The Spartan is a high energy team workout designed to prepare all levels of athletes to compete in a Spartan Sprint (3+ miles), Super (6+ miles), Beast (13+ miles) or any other adventure/endurance event. Our Spartan program is a major differentiator of Reebok CrossFit Coastal Carolina from all the others. When it comes to obstacle course race prep, we are simply the best. This class provides excellent running instruction combined with body weight movements and physical obstacles to build very lean muscle mass. Our Spartans are some of the fittest athletes in our community. They are all about growing and improving the RC3 Spartan Team and sharing in great adventures. In class and out in the field, every RC3 Spartan will connect with team members to help finish the course together.
RC3 Mobility is our restorative yoga and CrossFit mobility class geared towards CrossFitters. Flexibility is a key element to a wellness regimen that is often over looked. Mobility Classes will compliment your CrossFit WOD, Burner, Spartan, running or any other workouts. Mobility and flexibility are heavily emphasized, with a strong focus on core strength for stability and balance to help you move in and out of lifts with greater ease.
Our new masters have the option to join a class with a low-key feel including members just starting out at a similar athletic level. We created the ForeverFIT small group class to help you continue your introduction to Reebok CrossFit classes. While we always accommodate the newcomer at all classes, your ForeverFIT coach will provide special attention to demonstrating and drilling excellent movement in every class. As this is a smaller class, your coach will always have the ability to assist you with the scale of workout that is right for you.
The ForeverFIT class will provide you with the support you need to safely and confidently begin your Reebok CrossFit journey!
CrossFit Exceptional, is a FUN specially programmed CrossFit class designed to serve the fitness needs of the adult developmentally disabled members of our community. Classes include partner exercises, group activities, and individual workouts at a pace allowing for plenty of extra time for answering questions and reviewing homework assignments. Exercises are “functional” movements that are helpful with the activities everyone finds in everyday life.
